Guidelines

NO EXCEPTIONS TO RULES & REGULATIONS AT ANY TIME

Policy A: Respect

  1. Any and all members (Unregistered Members, Recruits, Members, Staff, Administration, etc..) are required to show a level of respect towards other members of the community, at all times.
  2. Slandering, “talking down” and use of blacklisted words is prohibited at all times (e.g Cursing towards another member, starting rumours about another member, making fun of someone else's sexual orientation, racial slurs, etc.)
  3. Arguing verbally and/or via text chat is prohibited. If an argument is started a member of staff is to be notified immediately. Do not attempt to settle the situation yourself.
  4. Respect towards Staff Member(s) actions/decisions regarding any given situation, is required at all times. If you feel you were treated unfairly do not argue with the Staff Member, submit an Internal Affairs Complaint Form.
  5. Constantly cursing is not permitted.
  6. Sexual Harassment (any unwelcome sexual advance or comments) is prohibited at all times.

Policy B: Abuse of Channel/Offices

  1. Going AFK (Away from Keyboard) in any public channels (e.g. Lobbies) is prohibited.

  2. Channels/Offices should not be used to exclude any members.

  3. Lounge channels are not to be used for private conversations

  4. While 2 or more members are in a private channel (Typically offices) you are prohibited from joining the channel without permission from all of the members in the channel. Only Staff+ may join an office channel without authorization, only for official staff duties.

Policy C : Songs/Music or other undesirable sounds

  1. All Music/Media is prohibited in all public lobbies (e.g. General Lounge, Relaxed Lounge, etc.) with the exception of ‘Music Lounge’.

  2. Undesirable sounds (as to be determined as annoying or otherwise disturbing, by a member of staff or higher) are prohibited in any public channel (e.g. yelling, screaming, bodily noises, background noise, etc.) 

  3. Excessive whispering to any user is prohibited with the exceptions in the patrol channel.

Policy D : Abuse of Power

  1. Any tag that gives one special ability not normally obtained; is not to be abused in any way shape or form (e.g. Moving someone without permission, etc.)

  2. Changing the name or description of the channel is prohibited unless otherwise authorised by a member of Senior Administration or the Channel/Office owner.

  3. Editing your display name is prohibited unless otherwise authorised by a member of Senior Staff or above. Name format should be “First name initial & Last name followed by your assigned unit number”.

  4. If you are not Staff, do not try to enforce rules. If a rule is broken, contact a member of staff. Staff may not Staff another Staff member, in the case contact a member of administration.

 

Policy E: Distribution/Selling of Materials

  1. Distribution of any (current or past version) Merseyside Roleplay Community Documents or Files (even to other members of the community) is prohibited unless authorised by a member of Administration or above.

  2. Distribution and/or selling of pornographic material, or any material containing nudity (including partial) and/or sexual reference is prohibited.

  3. Distribution and/or selling any form of illegally obtained software and/or material is prohibited (e.g. Pirated games, etc.)

  4. Distribution of images that contain any type of slandering material is prohibited. (e.g Embarrassing pictures of a Member, etc.)

  5. Selling of any items and/or materials (including software) over the Merseyside Roleplay Community Teamspeak 3 Server is prohibited

 

Policy F: Avatars on MRPC Assets

  1. Avatars may not contain slandering and/or offensive images. (e.g Imposing religion, Imposing sexual orientation, etc.)

  2. Avatars may not contain pornographic material, and/or any material containing nudity (including partial) and/or sexual references.

  3. Avatars may not contain personal images of other people without proper consent from that user.

  4. Avatars may contain your own personal portrait, but no other body parts.

 

Policy G: Supervisors

  1. Staff (blue “S” tag) and Senior Staff (red “S” tag) may do the following:

  1. Issue warnings, in-game warnings and removal from game orders for department and community policy violations

  2. Discipline members of other departments

 

Policy H: MerseysideRPC Patrols

  1. Push to talk is required in patrol channels at all times.

  2. All members of Merseyside RPC are required to have a clear and working microphone as well as a headset while in patrol channels.

  3. All “Radio Traffic Only” channels must be respected.

  4. Members must be in their respective Patrol Channels while in the Merseyside RPC Servers when patrolling. You must be in your respective Discord patrol channel before joining the FiveM Server.

  5. Members must adhere to their respective departments SOPs and guidelines when patrolling (e.g. Structures, Jurisdictions, etc). Staff and above can discipline any rank reserved for in-game violations only. Out of game violations must follow the normal Chain of Command.

  6. All players must be dedicated to patrols. Watching/playing other media (Other Media is defined as Any Video Media, Live Streams, Other Video/Card/Board games, etc.) is prohibited while patrolling unless permitted by MerseysideRPC Administration or the Social Media Team CoC.

  7. All Public Servers should be treated as active patrols unless otherwise noted by Administration.

  8. No trainers should be used in game, we operate a zero-tolerance policy and users will be disciplined 

  9. When Staff+ gives the command to spread out, the command must be followed within a reasonable amount of time (3-5 minutes), excluding Civilian Operations.

 

Policy I: Respect Administration & Their Decisions

  1. Do not ask for promotions.

  2. Do not question decisions made by the Administration Team.

  3. Do not lie during any investigation (conducted by Staff, Administration or Internal Affairs).

  4. Do not disrespect the Administration Team in any way.

  5. Head Administration is the highest level of staff, as such, their decision is final.

  6. You must aid Chain of Command members and/or Internal Affairs in an investigation when requested.

 

Policy J: Chain of Command (CoC)

  1. Do not skip ranks, even if the next ranking member cannot solve the problem

 

Policy K: Other Communities and Servers

  1. Members are allowed to be involved with any other Grand Theft Auto V Role-play Community/Clan. However there are certain stipulations in place.

    1. All members are allowed to connect to their own private server

    2. Blacklisted communities are excluded from the double clanning policy.

    3. All members (Including Staff+) are allowed to play on public FiveM role-play servers without filling out the double clanning form as long as they are a completely unwhitelisted server and don't require any type of registration to play.

  2. Current members who wish to join other communities will be required to submit a short notice (Dual Clanning Form) to their Chain of Command declaring their intentions.

  3. Applicants seeking to join MerseysideRPC that are currently a member of another community will be required to declare their membership in their application. If they are a ‘staff’ member or equivalent in this second community, they will also be required to declare that in their application.

  4. Current and future members that hold the rank of “Staff” or higher will be restricted from other communities at any time. If current Staff or Administration members wish to join a second community, they will be required to rescind their rank in MerseysideRPC, and return to a ‘member’ status effective immediately.

 

Policy L: MRPC Media Assets

  1. Recording/Streaming of any MRPC content or asset to any website or online avenue is strictly prohibited unless they are a member of the approved ‘Social Media Team’.

  2. English must be spoken on all official MerseysideRPC assets (role-play scenarios may be exempt).

  3. MerseysideRPC is not responsible for any communication held on any 3rd party applications. (e.g. KIK, Snapchat, Tinder, Grindr, WazZup, etc.) Exclusions include: threats or extreme disrespect towards a member or asset.

  4. Use of any MerseysideRPC asset for personal gain or benefit of non-authorized individuals and/or organisations is strictly prohibited.

  5. Coming on to the Teamspeak or Discord server inebriated beyond proper judgement or self-control from alcohol or narcotics is strictly prohibited. (exclusions include ‘Drunk game night’).

  6. Inappropriate, offensive, harmful teamspeak disconnect/away messages are strictly prohibited.

  7. All official discord servers must be owned by a member of Administration or Head Administration.

  8. Members and Staff should not be posting on behalf of the community unless otherwise stated, this can include but are not the only exceptions.

    1. Having ‘MRPC’ or ‘MerseysideRPC’ in your names

    2. ‘Poaching’ - Commenting on posts from other communities advertising ours and vice versa

    3. Slander in a public domain against our community, or another roleplay community

 

Policy M: Privacy and Security

  1. Any personal information shared (e.g sexual orientation, lifestyle, race, financial status, addresses, etc.) is at each member's own risk. MerseysideRPC will not be responsible for any information released.

  2. It is recommended for all members under the age of 18 years old to have their parents/guardians permission prior to signing up for our community.

  3. Recording in Teamspeak or Discord channels must be approved by the Administration Team.

  4. You are the sole owner of your account. You are responsible for any use of your accounts or its assets on any MerseysideRPC platform by anyone other than yourself.

  5. Users are limited to only one account on all assets such as the Website, Discords, Teamspeak, etc. (Exclusions can be made for Teamspeak Management, Website Development, and the Development Department for testing purposes only).


 

Policy N: Miscellaneous

  1. Rank is considered a privilege; abuse of rank will result in demotion.

  2. Forming a group or “clique” (A group of persons one “hangs out with;” alienating others) within the community is prohibited.

  3. In order to join a sub-division within your primary department, you must first achieve the rank of Constable, Firefighter II, Nurse/Student Paramedic or higher.

  4. Members should not be making any purchases for the community without the prior consent of Head Administration and the Development Team Supervisor

  5. The use of MerseysideRPC or its assets to promote any political party or agenda, or demean any political party or agenda, is prohibited and will be determined by the staff member handling whether it falls under this rule.

  6. If you resign or are removed for inactivity from the community you must wait a minimum of 30 days to re-apply unless exempted by Head Administration.

  7. Falsifying or Forging information is forbidden on MerseysideRPC Documents including applications to the community or department forms.

  8. At no point should you use the name of any other member or administrator.

  9. Any projects created for the community (e.g. scripts, plugins, documents, etc.) must have ownership transferred over to the Community/Head Administration.

  10. You must wait a minimum of 30 days in your current department before requesting a transfer.

  11. Users must not be operating Motor Vehicles whilst using any of our assets (FiveM, Teamspeak, Discord, Websites, etc..)

 

Policy O: Inactivity

  1. If a member is to become inactive from the community for more than 7 days, a “Leave of Absence” LOA post must be made by the member on the website.

  2. LOA’s are allowed for up to 30 days. If a member requires an LOA longer than 30 days, they must get Senior Administration approval.

    1. The maximum amount of time, Administration can grant an LOA extension is 3 months. After the 3 months have elapsed and the member has not returned, they will be removed and asked to re-apply.

  3. If a member is inactive for 2 weeks or longer without posting an LOA they will be demoted on rank. After 4 weeks of inactivity without a posted LOA or notice to a member of the administration, you may be removed from the community.

  4. Administration reserves the right to:

    1. Remove anyone from the community for inactivity based on their professional judgement.

    2. Head Administration may grant extensions longer than 3 months on a case-by-case basis (emergencies or severe circumstances only).

  5. An LOA is a community-wide leave of absence. A person may not take an LOA in a specific department while not being absent from another department/reserve

Punishment for Policy Violations

The Staff and Administration of the community have the right to issue discipline to any member for any violations of any of the above policies. All punishments depend on the severity and occurrence. General disciplinary actions may include but are not limited to:

  1. Verbal Warning

  2. In-Game Warning

  3. Written Warning

  4. Removal from Game Order

  5. Removal from Game/Server (48 hour Suspension)

  6. Suspension

  7. Demotion of Rank

  8. Removal of Privileges (Sub-Divisions, Reserve Departments, FTO, Media, Offices, etc.)

  9. Promotional Hold

  10. Termination of Membership

 

Disclaimers

  1. This is only a roleplaying community. We are in NO way affiliated with the United Kingdom Government, Department of Justice, Department of Health and Social Care, Department of Defence or other related government agencies.

  2. The Staff and/or Administration is not responsible for helping or providing aid in any sort of personal or medical emergency. For immediate help, please contact your local authorities.

  3. MerseysideRPC Assets are defined as but not limited to MerseysideRPC Website, MerseysideRPC Official Teamspeak, MerseysideRPC CAD, MerseysideRPC Administration and MerseysideRPC Official Discord.

  4. The Administration/Head Administration holds the right to discipline any member for any actions that are not explicitly stated in this document but are deemed borderline to any of the above policies or harmful to the overall environment of the Merseyside Roleplay Community.

  5. Any termination has the ability to be appealed. If you are looking to appeal a termination from the community, you should use this form which is sent directly to the Head Administration: LINK
